Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely people at The Broke and the Bookish. This weeks theme is Top 10 books I would buy now if someone gave me a gift card. I will just point out here that I’ve assumed this gift card is unlimited! Some of these are collections I would love to own and others are books which are future releases that I cannot wait to get my hands on! I would pre-order them right now (or pay the author off to get a copy quicker!).

Collections I Need To Own

Jane Austen Seven Novels (Barnes and Noble Leatherbound Classic Collection) – I have been in love with this collection for so long. Every time I go into Waterstones I pick this book up and stroke it, I know I’ll buy it soon, it’s too pretty to just leave there!

Jane Austen: The Complete Works (Hardcover Classics) – Another gorgeous selection of covers that I am dying to own! I just want all of the pretty books on my shelf together and it just so happens to be they are Austen novels too!

The Puffins Classics Deluxe Collection – I just adore these book and I love all the titles this collection includes. There are a lot of favourites from my childhood and I love that they create a mini rainbow effect.

The Puffin in Bloom Collection – Another gorgeous set of hardbacks from Puffin. I love that these wonderful books have floral spines. They are so unique and will one day brace the shelves I own!

Harry Potter Page to Screen: The Complete Filmmaking Journey – I can’t think of a single Harry Potter fan that wouldn’t want to own this set! Only 3,000 were ever made and they are insanely expensive but just look at how fantastic this selection is. I can’t even imagine how amazing it is in real life!

Upcoming Releases I Need NOW!

These are all books which I simply just NEED to have in my posession right now. Most of them are not being published for a month or two, whilst some of them haven’t even been written fully yet! V.E.Schwab has a lot of work on her hands as two of these are hers! One of which is Our Dark Duet final in the Verity (This Savage Song) duology. There’s no cover for this yet so I’m just casually mentioning it here! Here are five others…

A Conjuring of Light (Shades of Magic, #3)  Three Dark Crowns (Untitled, #1)  Crooked Kingdom (Six of Crows, #2)

Heartless  Caraval (Untitled, #1)

Each of these five books is so highly anticipated that I just cannot wait to get my hands on them. There are some truly outstanding books coming up for the end of 2016!

  1. Those classic collections are all so beautiful 😍😍 And of course the Harry Potter collection. I’m so jealous of people who have that in their possession!

    Yes at all your upcoming releases too!! Well, I still need to read Six of Crows, but I’m sure I’ll love it 😊

  3. I need A Conjuring of Light and Crooked Kingdom now as well. I cannot wait for their release, I am all sorts of excited (and somewhat frightened). The Puffin in Bloom Collection is so lovely. The Little Women cover, which I’ve seen on Tumblr, is gorgeous. Great list!

  7. Basically I would just buy everything on your list haha, but really I love anything Jane Austen and omgosh I could only dream of getting my hands on that Harry Potter set! Also I cannot wait for A Conjuring of Light and Three Dark Crowns and Crooked Kingdom! They need to be in my hands like now! haha. Thanks for sharing your TTT list 🙂

  9. OMG, I’m so excited for Crooked Kingdom and Heartless!! I want my heist group back and I’m very curious about Meyer’s fairytale retelling from another POV.
    I’m not usually one to go for classics… And I’ve seen all the HP movies, but never touched the books. One downside to seeing the movies first x| Maybe one day!
