Thanks to the lovely Sam who hosts this meme at Taking On A World of Words. This is a weekly meme where I answer the three W’s of reading: What are you currently reading? What have you just finished reading? What will you read next?
What are you currently reading?
I literally just finished a book about an hour ago so I haven’t picked up a new read just yet! This post has caught me at an unusual time!
What did you recently finish reading?
The book I finished reading literally about an hour ago was the glorious Nevernight by Jay Kristoff. I LOVED this book so much! I’ve seen some reviewers who have been put off by the writing style at the beginning, but honestly, you should try and push through it because despite a slow first couple of chapters, this book is GOLDEN. It is so addictive and I just couldn’t put it down. I read the last 250 pages in one sitting today because I just couldn’t stop. My review will be up VERY soon!
What do you think you’ll read next?
In order to conquer some of the books on my TBR, I signed up for the #ReadThemAllThon on Twitter. You can check out my sign up post and all the details here. Luckily this has left me with an exact list of books I’m going to conquer. Here are some of my choices:
What have you been reading this week?
Do you have any thoughts on the books I’ve mentioned?
Feel free to follow me on Twitter, Instagram or Goodreads. Comments are always warmly welcome.
My book club is reading ‘Still Alice’ later this year. I look forward to seeing your reaction! Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!

I’ve heard so many good things about Nevernight!! It’s high up on my tbr list, and will be included in my next eBook haul. All these positive reviews have me really excited for it!
Shadow and Bone is high up on my list, too – I loved Six of Crows so much, and can’t wait to read more by Bardugo.
I’ve added When We Collided to my list as well 🙂
Happy reading!

I’m one of those who didn’t enjoy Nevernight that much. I mean I love the story but the writing style just didn’t do it for me. Hope you enjoy Siege and storm and When we collided. Both are wonderful books 🙂

I completely understand why the writing style isn’t for everyone, it did take me a while to wrap my head around it! I’m starting When We Collided today so I’m excited to hear good things about it! 🙂

I’ve heard Nevernight is wonderful! I still have to get my hands on it. I just finished The Lightning Thief for ReadThemAllThon and have just started Homegoing which is going really well! I also just picked up Still Alice! I’ve heard it’s emotional, but really good. This is a fun feature! Thanks for sharing!

I loved Nevernight too! I stayed up to 2.30 a.m. to finish it as I couldn’t put it down without knowing how it all ended 🙂
I hope you like Shadow and Bone. I liked the Grisha trilogy, but Six of Crows is much better.
Thanks for visiting my WWW (https://clairehuston.wordpress.com/2016/08/17/www-wednesday-17th-august-2016/) and happy reading!

I’ve been seeing raving reviews for Nevernight everywhere! I’ve also heard good things about When We Collided.
I hope you enjoy Shadow and Bone. Make sure you check our Six of Crows regardless if you haven’t yet 🙂

I’ve read Six of Crows and it’s one of my favourite books! That’s why I’m going back to the trilogy, although I’ve been told it’s not as good. Just need something from Bardugo to fill my time before Crooked Kingdom! Nevernight is so incredible. My review will be posted tomorrow!

I loved Six of Crows! I felt the same way, I wasn’t ready to leave the Grisha world so I’m going back to finish the trilogy 🙂

Nevernight is on it’s way to my house and I can’t wait to read it! I would like to hear your thoughts on the Grisha trilogy. I loved the first book but didn’t really enjoy the rest of the installments.

I’m hoping to read them soon! I’ve settled on When We Collided for my next read as I wanted something different to Nevernight but I think I’ll go for the trilogy after this!
