Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely people at The Broke and the Bookish. This weeks challenge is to show ten of the books that have been on our TBR piles since before we started blogging. I’m pretty new to book blogging as my blog has only been here for 7 and a bit months so I can definitely find ten book for this one! Here it goes!
1. Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden
2. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
3. 1984 by George Orwell
4. The Night Manager by John Le Carré
5. Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
6. The Maze Runner by James Dashner
7. Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
8. Uprooted by Naomi Novik
9. We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
10. The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
Eep! There are a lot of very popular titles in here that I’ve just never read. I actually own some of them and one or two I am hoping to get to this month actually. It was interesting to look back at my TBR on Goodreads for this.
Which of the above books have you read? Which do you most highly recommend?
Feel free to follow me on Twitter or Goodreads. Comments are always warmly welcome.
I really enjoyed Memoirs of a Geisha. I did not really enjoy The Knife of Never Letting Go, though I did find it fascinating. Almost all the rest of your books are also on my TBR! I look forward to reading you eventual reviews.

2) You HAVE to read Memoirs of a Geisha!! I adored that book!!!
3) The Maze Runner was good, but I didn’t really care for the other books in the series 😦

A lot of people have said the same about The Maze Runner so maybe I’ll just read the first one! Memoirs of a Geisha is on my list for this year, just waiting for it to be back in the library! 🙂

I recently finished Daughter of Smoke and Bone and loved it. Definitely recommend it the most out of the list! Maze runner is good, but I didn’t love the rest of the series. 1984 is a classic so you have to read that when you’re in the mood 😊 Speak is also very good, but I read it years ago so I don’t remember all the details.
