How am I already writing a TBR post for April? Where is 2017 going?? I must state now that I have VERY high hopes for how much I will read in April. I am off work from the 8th – 24th April and during that time will be travelling back and forth to both London and New York which means LOTS of dedicated reading time. That being said, I am also hoping to read a lot of eARCs this month as I really need to get to work on my NetGalley shelves! Here’s a peek at what I’m hoping to read this month!
First up are two books that are on a lot of people’s ‘most anticipated’ reading lists. I have been waiting (not so) patiently to get my hands on these books and I’ll be looking to read them pretty early on this month. I can’t wait to get stuck in and I have high hopes that they will live up to the hype surrounding them! I’ll have the chance to meet both Laini Taylor and Angie Thomas this month so I’m super excited!
I’m also very much looking forward to reading my copies of The State of Grace by Rachael Lucas and The Girl of Ink and Stars by Kiran Millwood Hargrave. I’ve heard great things about both so can’t wait to read them!
April will also be the month that I finally read Tree Magic by the lovely Harriet Springbett. I’ve gotten to know Harriet a bit during #SundayYA chats on Twitter and she is super lovely. I’ve been promising to read this for too long now, it is officially on the TBR, Harriet!
As for the fact I also want to read a ton of eARCS, I’ve not decide which ones but will certainly need to mix up some upcoming titles and some of those who are now in my backlog (big woops!). We shall see just how many of those I manage to make it through!
What is on your TBR for April?
What releases are you looking forward to?

Congrats on your days off, that’s amazing and I hope you can relax a lot and, obviously, have a great reading month!
I’ve heard great things about both Strange the Dreamer and THUG so I’m sure you’ll enjoy them a lot.
Btw, all the books on your TBR have amazing covers 😉

I hope you have a wonderful break from work and get lots of reading done! I can’t wait to see your thoughts on The Hate U Give and Strange the Dreamer! That is so exciting that you get to meet the authors. I look forward to hearing all about that as well.
That cover for The Girl of Ink and Stars is absolutely stunning! I don’t think I’ve heard of that book before? I must do some research now 🙂 Happy reading in April!

It is possible that TGOIAS is only in the UK. I’m looking forward to reading it.
I’m so looking forward to two weeks of freedom, my 14 hours of flight time will certainly help with the reading!

Dedicated upcoming reading time?! Yes, please! I am looking forward to reading The Hate U Give at some point in my future, too.
My TBR is all book club books and ARCs this month. I am most excited to finish The Falconer trilogy with The Broken Kingdom, as well as read Anne of Green Gables for the first time ever.

Oh I plan to reread Anne of Green Gables sometime this year. I read it YEARS ago but want to read again. Hope you have a great month 🙂

Strange the Dreamer is incredible, but it’s so intricate that it’s taking a lot out of me and I’m reading it soo slowly. I really need to read THUG!

I’m going to read THUG next and then leave Strange the Dreamer for this weekend/beginning of next week when I can read mainly at home as it is SO big!
