Hello you rather lovely people! A condenced version of my Sunday Summary this week as I’m currently in New York! (I’m writing this Friday evening before I go so it may be slightly outdated if you follow me on Twitter!) Hope you’re all having a great weekend!
As I type I have not long finished reading Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor. I love a good YA fantasy so knew I would more than likely enjoy this. I absolutely fell in love with Laini’s gorgeous writing, this story is so mysterious and had me in tears by the end! Look out for my full review next week!
From Thurs – Mon my wonderful friend Rachel (@_sectumsemprah) (who also blogs at 100 or Less) is hosting the #SundayYAthon over on Twitter. As I won’t be here to update so regularly what I’m reading until next Thursday, here’s a reminder of the books I’m hoping to read on my TBR!
I’m writing this post just off the back of 24(ish) hours in London. I had the best time with my bookish friends Rosie and Steph and may have accidentally made a few purchases…
Woops – more eARCs! Egmont have some great looking titles coming out soon so I could not resist requesting these and was lucky enough to get approved. Now I really MUST stop it…
I’ll report back with a challenge update next week when I suspect more progress will have been made!
This is a slightly incmoplete list as Saturday’s post won’t show here (remember I wrote this on Friday!!) but here are some
- The State of Grace by Rachael Lucas – book review
- Top 10 Series I Started But Haven’t Finished Yet
- WWW Wednesday
- #SundayYAthon at Easter: TBR!
I have had the BEST first week of the holidays! I had an incredible time at the Angie Thomas and Patrice Lawrence event in Waterstone’s Piccadilly on Thursday with my lovely Rosie. Both of these inspiring ladies really had profound messages to share and I really loved hearing them speak. Due to NYC I’ve not had time to do my own write up yet but I will do so next week! It was definitely a panel I would have been sad to miss!
As I’m currently in New York (and not actually on my blog, just appreciating the magic of scheduled posts – who knows, this could be posting on Monday?? Let’s hope not!) I’m having a blast (I assume) and will be full of things to tell you and pictures to share next week! If you want to see what I’m up to in the mean time follow me over on Twitter!
Have a wonderful week!

I’m having such a bad time with books lately. Three books in a row that I either didn’t like or was just ‘meh’ about. I’m desperate for a good and engaging read.
