May TBR!

I’m pretty sure I say this on every TBR post I write but how is it already May?? This year is flying past us but I’ve got to say that so far 2017 has been pretty amazing for me. For this month I am not being so strict with what I read on my TBR, so below I’ve listed a few titles I really want to read this month. In total I am aiming to read 8 books in May, it’s a very busy time of year in work so we shall see if I make it through!

Books I Will Definitely Be Reading:

Flame in the Mist (Flame in the Mist, #1)  When Dimple Met Rishi

The Fallen Children  Release

There are 4 May releases that are absolute MUST reads for me! I’m lucky enough to have ARCs of Flame in the Mist by Renee Ahdieh and When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon so they will be early May reads. I’ve been so excited for both of these but wanted to read them closer to publication. I’m also super excited for The Fallen Children by David Owen and Release by Patrick Ness. I’m on a book buying ban (more about that this week) so I luckily have these two books pre-ordered!

Other Books I Might Read This Month:

Who Runs the World?  Contagion (Dark Matter, #1)  I Have No Secrets  The Opposite of You

Windfall  Ink (Skin Books, #1)  The Island at the End of Everything  Far From You

Wonder  Remix  Orangeboy  If Birds Fly Back

Above is a rather large selection of other titles I’ll be choosing from this month. Some of these are eARCs (I’m still working away at my NG rating) and some of them are from my back list. I’m looking forward to each of them but I want May to be a month where I don’t feel tied down to certain books. There are some pretty excellent titles up above so whatever I read will be fab, it may not even be from that list! If I can read 4 out of these I’ll reach my target of 8 books but hopefully I’ll make a few more!

  2. My eyes hurt from all the pretty covers on your TBR!

I really want to read Wonder. My son had to read it for school, and he actually enjoyed it… this is saying a lot since he is a very reluctant reader.

    Happy reading in May 🙂

  4. I just picked up The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh from the library. I went for Court of Throne and Roses but it was checked out.

  5. Ah, so lucky to have Release! It isn’t coming out in the U.S. until September, so I’m hoping to get an ARC! And I’ve had Far From You on my TBR for a while; it sounds so interesting! 😄

  6. I literally just finished Flame In The Mist and it was even better than expected! I hope you will enjoy it as well. And somehow I have managed to not hear about Release before even though I love his books. Oops? I hope you will enjoy your books this month!

  7. Orange Boy is on my TBR list this month, and I have The Island at the End of Everything – I chose six books to get through, but may read others. Patrick Ness is on my wishlist – love Chaos Walking.
