Top 10 Tuesday | Ten Favourite Covers of Books Read in 2017!

ttt

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely people at The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s prompt is anything to do with covers! Now I absolutely love book covers and have been known on many occasions to buy a book purely for its cover. This means that I own many very pretty books (lucky me!). This week I’ve decided to go with my top 10 covers of books I’ve read so far in 2017! (These may not be all 2017 releases!)

Wing Jones     Traitor to the Throne (Rebel of the Sands #2)

Caraval (Caraval, #1)     The Scarecrow Queen (The Sin Eater’s Daughter, #3)

The Hate U Give     Strange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer, #1)

The Girl of Ink and Stars     Queens of Geek

Becoming Betty     A Quiet Kind of Thunder

As well as being beautiful these books are also all rather wonderful to read. Just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside, if not more so.

What are some of your favourite book covers?

Have you read any of the books I mentioned above?

  2. It makes me happy to see so much pink on these covers! I feel like covers were really muted last year. All these bright colors make me super happy! Hm. Other favorite 2017 covers? I also love the cover for Long May She Reign and Under Rose-Tainted Skies for similar reasons. 😀

  3. The Girl of Ink and Stars is my favorite from this list!

Is that cover of Caraval the paperback cover? I just found out this week that the hardback covers have a few different design options underneath the dust jacket… who knew?

  4. ALL of these covers are so stunning, I can’t believe I haven’t read any of them yet! I need to get on that ASAP. I think my favorite cover of a book I’ve read this year would be A Conjuring of Light, but The Education of Margot Sanchez is a very close second! Awesome choices, Kelly! 🙂

    • Oh both of these came very close to being on my list!! I also love them both. I adored ACOL but I’ve not read TEoMS yet, I did pick up a copy in NYC though! 😁 ps. I highly recommend every book from my list, read them all!

  5. Every time I see the cover of Queens of Geek I fall in love with it even more… which is kind of strange because it’s just pink hair, but there’s something about it that’s SO COOL. ❤
