Thanks to the lovely Sam who hosts this meme at Taking On A World of Words. This is a weekly meme where I answer the three W’s of reading: What are you currently reading? What have you just finished reading? What will you read next?
What are you currently reading?
I started When Dimple Met Rishi this morning and I am enjoying it so much! As well as it being an interesting insight into a culture I am not very familiar with, I just love the characters. So far I can see a lot of me in Dimple (she’s so sassy and fierce!) and Rishi seems like an adorable cupcake. Can’t wait to see what will happen next!
What did you recently finish reading?
I fell in love with the DCI Erika Foster series last year and this is now the fourth book and this series is just as strong as ever. I love the characters: Erika, Peterson and Moss are all fantastic and I love reading about them. I also really enjoy the police procedural side of these books. I loved that Last Breath had a focus on social media too, it made it very relatable and all that more thrilling!
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’ve heard some great things about The Opposite of You and I’m lucky enough to have an eARC. This book is releasing later this week in the UK and my trusty friend Rachel has told me I will enjoy it! I’m looking forward to diving in soon.
What have you been reading this week?
Do you have any thoughts on the books I’ve mentioned?
