Hello my lovelies! Another week gone and another Sunday Summary from me to you!
This week I read and fell in love with If Birds Fly Back by the lovely Carlie Sorosiak. This books is so beautifully written and I loved the two main characters. It’s released later this month and I can’t wait to see what you’ll all make of it! My current read is Spellbook of the Lost and Found by Moira Fowley-Doyle. I really enjoyed The Accident Season so I knew I wanted to pick this up, plus I had seen some of my favourite UKYA authors raving about this one. So far I love it, it’s such an atmospheric read!
I went to Waterstones yesterday to treat myself after my lovely friend Steph sent me a bookish gift card. I decided to pick up The Power by Naomi Alderman and also The Call by Peadar O’Guilin which I’ve heard incredible things about! I also bought my Gryffindor house edition of the Philosopher’s Stone!
I was also lucky enough to receive an early finished copy of Lost Boy by Christina Henry which is a Peter Pan retelling. Thanks Titan!
Progress is being made little by little! Every little counts and all that!

I loved this book so much. It’s really beautifully written and there are some really delicate themes in the book. I really appreciated the honesty of the characters and their stories, it made me quite emotional when reading. My full review will be up in a week or so but I urge you all to add this to your tbr now if it’s not already on there!

My book buying ban was a success! During the whole of May I managed to avoid buying any books except for the new set of novellas by Melinda Salisbury that I just couldn’t resist! They were a surprise so I couldn’t pre-order! My birthday is in a couple of weeks so I’m not going to go crazy book buying as I’ll hopefully get some new books then but I am definitely proud of myself for sticking to it in May! Now just to keep reading through my back log…
Have a wonderful week! ❤
