Hello my lovelies! Another week gone and another Sunday Summary from me to you!
I finally finished reading the atmospheric and gorgeous Spellbook of the Lost and Found by Moira Fowley-Doyle. I really enjoyed it and I’m not quite sure I have the words in me to describe this book. If you like magical books then I think you’ll love this. I also devoured Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab and I LOVED EVERY SECOND!! (More about this below….) My current read is The Call by Peadar O’Guilin. I’ve heard the most fantastic things about this book from my very reliable bookish friends and I have already devoured nearly 40% of it in one sitting last night. As you’re reading this I would predict that I am currently sat with my nose in this one!
This week was an excellent week for bookish post! My preorder of Our Dark Duet arrived and I’ve already devoured that. I also received Rising by Jennifer Wilson and The Sandcastle Empire by Kayla Olson. I hadn’t heard of either of these but both look pretty good to me! Then I received two books from Daphne who was doing a clear out and kindly sent me her old ARCs of The Memory Book by Lara Avery and The Roanoke Girls by Amy Engel. I’ve heard great things about both of these books!
A big thank you to Stevie and the lovely folk at Usborne Publishing for sending me a proof copy of Being Miss Nobody by Tamsin Winter. It’s a recent release and sounds so wonderful, I’m definitely jumping into this one soon!
Progress is being made little by little! Every little counts and all that!

I absolutely adore V.E. Schwab’s writing and this has easily been one of my most highly anticipated novels of 2017 and it did not disappoint at all. I was sucked back into the world of Kate and August immediately. This book was SUCH an adventure, it was so exhilarating and I felt exhausted by the end. I loved every second of this book up until the end when my heart was shattered into a million pieces. Schwab has continued her reign as Queen of fantasy for me!

My birthday is this week and I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve already been treated to an afternoon tea by one of my friends who is away this week and I already have 2 seemingly bookish birthday parcels just waiting to be opened! I am waiting out for Thursday to open them though! I have some really nice plans for this week and the weather is currently gorgeous in the UK so I’m a happy bunny.
Have a wonderful week! ❤

I read the Darker Shades of Magic trilogy, but have yet to pick up any of Schwab’s other books… I really need to get on the ball here. Have you read Vicious? Didn’t know if you recommend starting with one over the other…

I’ve not read Vicious yet but I’m hoping to read it soon. I’ll hopefully have two chances to meet Schwab this summer which I’m really excited about!

Hi Kelly!
Great post ☺. I got a copy of the Call the other day at Waterstones, but I’m a bit of a wuss so I probably won’t get round to it for a few weeks.
I’ve been quite slow with reading this week: I’ve read See You in the Cosmos, Jack Dash and the Summer Blizzard and Truth or Dare, all of which I enjoyed.
I’ve written a few blog posts; a Father’s Day themed Top Ten Tuesday and also a post about my favourite children’s classics. I also took part in the I Dare You Book Tag.
