I thought I’d go for the 10 books that have been on my TBR for the longest (according to my Goodreads shelf!). Not all of these are necessarily ‘old’ books, but they are the first 10 books that are on my TBR – meaning I should probably read them soon!!

This is a fun take on TTT! I feel like some books have been on my TBR since the origin of Man.
On your list, I really enjoyed by Memoirs of a Geisha and Landline. I learned through a few books, including The Knife of Never Letting Go that I just don’t like Patrick Ness’s writing. I hope you enjoy it when you get to it, however!

Girl, Memoirs of a Geisha sat on my TBR so damn long I finally gave away my copy of it and accepted that I’ll probably never read it. Lmao!
The book that’s been on my Goodreads TBR the longest is It by Stephen King. I believe it’s been on there since I created my GR account back in 2012.

Haha, I feel that way about a few books that I own!! Oooh, half of me wants to read It but I’m terrified of clowns so I’m not sure it would be a good idea!

I’m not sure which books have been on my TBR longest! The art of Being Normal from yours is AMAZING. The Kite Runner is one of 3 books my English teacher is considering for my class this year though, so I may be reading it soon! X

I haven’t read any of these books. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas and The Kite Runner are on my tbr though.

The Kite Runner was so good. I read it a few years ago but it’s still stuck in my head. Such a beautiful story. Uprooted has been on my TBR for just as long as yours has and I never seem to get to it!!

I really want to read The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas too! It’s not actually physically been on my list for ages, but it’s a book I’ve wanted to read since I was a teenager!

It’s been on my list for so long but I cried so much at the movie I just don’t know if I can pick the book up!

Oh, I have The Knife of Never Letting Go and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo on my TBR as well! I attempted Uprooted a while back and couldn’t get into it. 😝

I read The Kite Runner earlier this year and it is lovely. The Art of Being Normal and the Stieg Larsson were good too. Although I did do the Stieg Larsson on audiobook, so not sure what it would be like to read. I imagine I’d have skim read some parts.

Yes the Stieg Larsson books seem very wordy, if that makes sense? I definitely need to read The Kite Runner soon!

They’re insanely wordy. I don’t know if I’d have got through them if I hadn’t listened to them on audiobook
