Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely people at The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s prompt is to feature 10 books we meant to read in 2017 but will totally get to in 2018! I’m going to make this more specific and go for books published in 2017 that I didn’t quite get to but hope to read this year! I’ll link to the Goodreads page for each in case you’re interested! This is in no particular order …

All of these books were published in 2017 and I’ve heard such brilliant things about them that they are all on my shelves ready and waiting to be read in 2018! Below I’ve cheated and also included 10 books I didn’t read last year but was meant to that were published before 2017.

I read Memoirs of a Geisha many years ago and remember really enjoying it…. I should probably re-read it at some point.
Warcross and The Kite Runner are high on my TBR. I’ve been meaning to read The Kite Runner for YEARS. Everyone raves about it and says that I will love it… for some reason that intimidates me a little bit?

I see so many titles here, both 2017 releases & prior, that I too hope to get round to… With each year, it gets harder and harder to read all the books you want to, doesn’t it?!
I did quite enjoy The Island at the End of Everything. I hope you’re able to get to some of these books soon.

Everything, Everything was such a great story!! I loved it!! I need to check out the Mara Dyer series and The Bone season!! Great list!! Hope you get to them soon!!

Memoirs of a Geisha and Uprooted are definitely worth the read!

Great list! I really enjoyed The Upside of Unrequited, I hope you get the chance to read it soon. I was able to get the Warcross ebook on sale a few days ago, so I am stoked to finally read it. The Bone Season is so good! I am dying for you to read it, haha. I’ve had The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer for so long now and still unread. Hopefully that’s another series I’ll get to this year.
