Hi everyone! It’s Sunday and time for a #SixforSunday post! This is a weekly meme hosted by my lovely friend Steph @ A Little But A Lot. Don’t forget to check out her blog for today’s post too!
Today’s prompt is actually NOTHING to do with what I’m doing. Steph has asked us to talk about our 6 favourite places to read and I only really have one or two as most of my reading is done at home! So I thought I’d just go completely off track and show you 6 books that (according to Goodreads) have been on my TBR for the longest.
I’ve heard some really excellent things about these books but for some reason, despite owning them, I still haven’t picked them up!
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to pitch one of these books to me so I finally pick it up!!
What is the oldest book on your TBR?
Where are your favourite places to read?
Follow me on Twitter, Instagram, Bloglovin’ or Goodreads. Comments are always warmly welcome.

I loved The Knife of Never Letting Go. I still have The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer on my TBR too. I need to finally get around to reading the series.

omg I LOVE the Unbecoming of Mara Dyer! That’s one’s definitely been on my shelves forever and I was so happy when I finally picked it up two-ish years ago! If you’re into darker paranormals i’m sure you’d love it 🙂

Eee, I have the whole trilogy on my shelf so I’m really not sure how or why I haven’t picked it up yet!

‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ is SO good! And that’s coming from me, who is NOT into thrillers at all. I just couldn’t stop reading it, it’s so perfect.
‘Uprooted’ is an amazing stand-alone and I can only recommend it!

Ahhh! Another brilliant #SixforSunday post. Alas I can’t really pitch any of these to you as I have NOT read any of them!
I wonder if you’ll EVER do a prompt I post 😉

The Art of Being Normal is one of my favourite books which I read in 2015! Really thought-provoking and important, if you’ve read George then I think you’ll like this. If you haven’t read George then I think you should read George too!

Eek, I really loved George! I think TAOBN will be going on my May TBR!

No idea what the oldest on mine is, but I accept your challenge! The Art of Being Normal is stunning, and I adored both David and Leo when I read it. It’s one of the most gripping contemporaries ever, and though it will break your heart a LOT, it also mends it a bit.
