Hi everyone! It’s Sunday and time for a #SixforSunday post! This is a weekly meme hosted by my lovely friend Steph @ A Little But A Lot. Don’t forget to check out her blog for today’s post too!
Today is all about the books that made us angry! A quick disclaimer that just because a book made me angry, that doesn’t mean I didn’t like it! Some of these are my favourite books but there were characters or plot lines that evoked angry emotions from me. One of them, however, is a book I really cannot stand! I wonder if you can guess which one?
What’s a Girl Gotta Do? by Holly Bourne | Paper Butterflies by Lisa Heathfield | After the Fire by Will Hill | All the Rage by Courtney Summers | Who Runs the World? by Virginia Bergin | The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
What books have made you angry whilst reading them?

I’ve only read After the Fire and THUG, so I can see why those make you angry. I don’t imagine either is the one you hate though.

There are so many books that have made me angry over the years. Most include some form of hatred: racism, sexism, discrimination, etc. Off the top of my head, the book Asking for It made me really made. It is all about rape culture.

I have this book on my TBR but I’m waiting for a suitable time to read it. Not sure there ever will be though…

LOVED What’s a Girl Gotta Do, though it made me angry at lots of points too. I’m pretty sure Who Runs the World is the one you hate? I think I’ve seen you say that in a tag or something before!
