Top 10 Tuesday | 10 Books to get me out of a reading slump

53

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish which has now found a lovely new home at That Artsy Reader Girl. The prompt this week was to share 10 books that we read to get us out of a slump. I tend to reread old favourites when this happens so thought I’d share some of my trusty faves of mine.

A Quiet kind of Thunder | Wing Jones | Radio Silence | Margot & Me | If Birds Fly Back | State of Grace | Sam Wu is NOT Afraid of Ghosts | Harry Potter | Theatrical | Queens of Geek

  2. SO many of my faves on this list; I adore A Quiet Kind of Thunder and Radio Silence and Wing Jones and Margot and Me (and Harry Potter of course). I really liked a few of the others too (namely Sam Wu and Theatrical) and I want to read both If Birds Fly Back and Queens of Geek, but just haven’t got round to them (I feel I say that about SO many books…)

  3. Oh this is such a great list – I recently read and LOVED A Quiet Kind of Thunder, and all of Alice Oseman’s books are my favorites ❤ I also really enjoyed Queens of Geek, it's one of these perfect books to get out of a slump for me, too 🙂
    Lovely list! 🙂

  4. I need to cave and order Theatrical already. I absolutely adore that cover art and that synopsis seems like it’d be right up my alley. Plus if it’s a reread amongst this company of books, it must be worthy of my time! Nice list!

If you want to see a post that veers completely offtrack from this week’s prompt lol feel free to do so here: http://bit.ly/2w1tSD0

  5. Harry Potter is such a good shout, it’s that ‘old favourite’ type material that you already know you love and are guaranteed to enjoy! I actually have If Bird Fly Back and Radio Silence sitting on my bookshelves, waiting to be read, and you’ve reminded me that I need to get to them soon. Hopefully I won’t have to wait to be in a slump to do so 😉 Great post!
