Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish which has now found a lovely new home at That Artsy Reader Girl. The prompt this week is to share 10 books we were meant to read in 2018 but never got around to! I could list WAAAY more than 10 books for this (sadly) but it means I have SO many great books left to discover… right?
Muse of Nightmares | The Price Guide to the Occult | How Do You Like Me Now? | The Astonishing Colour of After | Scythe | Circe | The Boneless Mercies | The Skylarks War | The Dark Vault | Heartstopper Vol. 1
So many great books to look forward to!
What books from 2018 are still on your tbr pile?
Have you read any of the books I mentioned above? Let me know in the comments.
Follow me on Twitter, Instagram, Bloglovin’ or Goodreads. Comments are always warmly welcome.
I still have Muse, Scythe, The Price Guide to the Occult and Boneless Mercies on my pile to read.

Scythe is on my TBR too, I only just bought it. I’ve heard amazing things.
Heartstopper is like a hug in book form, it’s just so freaking lovely.

Off this list I’ve read Muse of Nightmares & The Astonishing Colour of After. Muse of Nightmares is just as amazing as Strange the Dreamer was. I don’t know how Taylor brought in new characters and an entirely new subplot and tied it all together nicely. The Astonishing Colour of After is a beautifully written book. I was not able to connect with it emotionally for some reason. I bet I would have had I read it via audiobook… I have a feeling you will LOVE it though.
I’ve been meaning to read Scythe & Circe myself. I will definitely get to them this year!

I really want to read Muse of Nightmares soon, I kept meaning to. I even got it from the library and ran out of time sadly. I read Circe and Scythe and enjoyed them both.

Circe and The Price Guide to the Occult are in my still-waiting pile too! But Skylarks War was one of my absolute favourite books of last year – I can’t rave about it enough!

AHHH I STILL HAVEN’T READ SCYTHE EITHER. Good to know there’s someone else! I’m also determined to read Read Seas Under Red Skies by Scott Lynch, Call Me By Your Name by Andre Aciman, and An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green in 2019.
