June: Bookish Reflection

June.png

Hi everyone! A little delayed with this post but I’ve been taking some ‘me’ time, which is much needed. April was a brilliant reading month and was also filled with some fab bookish events. May is looking quieter on that front but we’ve already seen some brilliant UKYA releases.

Number of Books read: 8

Number of Pages read: 2,455 pages

I read a mix of YA and MG books in June which was a nice balance. There were a few short reads too which was great. I absolutely savoured every aspect of Floored and I adored it so, so much. I am trying to catch up on reviews but I’ve posted all my ratings below with links to the review if it’s live or the Goodreads page if not!

Floored

It will come as absolutely NO surprise to find out that my favourite read of June was Floored. When you have 7 of the best UKYA authors collaborating you know you’re in for a treat and this book is just incredible. I’m still trying to put words into a coherent review but when I mange it you can bet it will be a long and gushing one!

If you read my 2018 Goals and Challenges post you will know that I am once again completing a Goodreads goal as well as completing some other challenges. I’m not going to update every single one here so if you want to see my progress in all of them then check out this page!

If you read my May Wrap Up & Personal Catch Up post you’ll know that May was a difficult month for me but I’m really glad to say that June was much, much better. Probably helped by the fact I had my birthday and a few lovely things planned including seeing Ed Sheeran. I’ve also been making summer plans with my friends and family and I’m excited for YAProm and YALC towards the end of this month! Lots of happy bookish times ahead!
