British Books Challenge 2018

bbc-pointed-shaded

I’m super excited to be taking part in the British Books Challenge in 2018. The lovely Chelle over at Tales of Yesterday is hosting the challenge again this year and will also be running some amazing giveaways too. You can find out more and sign up here.

The idea is the read a minimum of twelve books (one per month) that fit the following criteria:

  • Authors who were born in the UK, live in the UK and are published in the UK
  • Authors who were born overseas but are CURRENTLY living in the UK and his/her books were/are being published in the UK first
  • Authors who were born in the UK are currently living overseas but his/her books are being published in the UK first

I am a huge UKYA fan and so this challenge is perfect for me. I already know that I’ll easily read over 12 books throughout the year but this challenge is definitely a great way to support British authors and their books.

Whilst I don’t tend to keep a strict TBR for this challenge, here are some ideas of UKYA books I will be reading in 2018 that fit with this challenge.
