Thanks to the lovely Sam who hosts this meme at Taking On A World of Words. This is a weekly meme where I answer the three W’s of reading: What are you currently reading? What have you just finished reading? What will you read next?

What are you currently reading?

Wing Jones  Hard Choices

I picked up my completely gorgeous copy of Wing Jones by Katherine Webber yesterday and I’m only 80 pages in but completely loving it. I already love Wing as a character and this book is already tackling issues such as racism, bullying and grief. I have extremely high hopes for this one.

I completely forgot to mention last week that I am listening to the audio book of Hard Choices by Hillary Clinton. I absolutely adore Hillary Clinton and think she is an incredible role model. I have a physical copy of this book but I’m enjoying listening to the audio (although it’s VERY long!). It’s super interesting!

What did you recently finish reading?

The One Memory of Flora Banks  Burned and Broken  The Princess Saves Herself in this One

I particularly enjoyed The One Memory of Flora Banks by Emily Barr. You can find my full review here and if you fancy it then it is released tomorrow! I also very much enjoyed The Princess Saves Herself in this One by Amanda Lovelace. I read it in about 20 minutes and thought it was an interesting and thought evoking collection of short poems. I also read Burned and Broken by Mark Hardie which I kindly received from the publisher in preparation for a blog tour in a few weeks time.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Three Dark Crowns

What have you been reading this week?

Do you have any thoughts on the books I’ve mentioned?

I’ve been tempted to try Three Dark Crowns but have seen some mixed reviews. Can’t wait to see what you think.

  4. The Princess Saves Herself In This One Is one of my favorites ever!! I mean, it was beautifully written and the words will surely get through you. And I really loved it though there were times that it hurt and broke my heart.
