Thanks to the lovely Sam who hosts this meme at Taking On A World of Words. This is a weekly meme where I answer the three W’s of reading: What are you currently reading? What have you just finished reading? What will you read next?
What are you currently reading?
I’m really enjoying Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor at the moment. It’s the first of her books that I’ve read (despite owning her trilogy on Kindle) and I am in love with her writing. It is so magical and just everything that I love. Can’t wait to see how this will turn out!
What did you recently finish reading?
I finished this book a few days ago and I am still struggling to find the words I need to write a review. This book is possibly one of the best books I have EVER read, it is incredible powerful and there honestly isn’t a single thing I didn’t like about it. It filled my heard with joy and enraged me at the same time. Angie Thomas is an absolute inspiration and I URGE you to go and read a copy of this. Phenomenal.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Two books on my ‘next up’ list for now! The first is The Girl of Ink and Stars by the lovely Kiran Millwood Hargrave. I’ve heard AMAZING things about this book and it seems like it will be a fairly quick read. I will then be turning my attention to the intriguing Tree Magic by the super wonderful Harriet Springbett.
What have you been reading this week?
Do you have any thoughts on the books I’ve mentioned?
Follow me on Twitter, Instagram, Bloglovin’ or Goodreads. Comments are always warmly welcome.

I haven’t read anything by Laini Taylor yet and I’m not sure why. I love the cover of Strange the Dreamer.
I just went and bought The Hate U Give on Amazon. I was waiting for my library to get it but no sign yet, and I really want to bump it up my TBR.

Strange the Dreamer is the first of hers that I’ve read but I am loving it! Definitely going to pick up her trilogy soon, especially as I have it on my kindle. I’ve heard that TGOIAS is just as beautiful on the inside, I’m excited to read it next!

I think I’ve taken out Daughter of Smoke and Bone from the library at least twice and yet somehow have still not read it, haha. I swear one of these days I’ll do it! 😛

I just bought The Hate U Give today! I’m glad you liked it- it seems like from the reviews its hitting a lot of people emotionally, and I haven’t read a book that’s done that in a while. Strange the Dreamer seems to be cropping up a lot at the moment too. I hope you enjoy the rest of it!
