This month I’ve decided to jazz up my TBR post a bit by also taking a look at the books being released in June that I am most looking forward to. They won’t necessarily get read this month but they’re definitely being added to my shelves for future reading!
TBR Books for June
My goal for June is to read 6 books. I normally read a minimum of 8 but as it’s my birthday month and I know I have plans on some of the upcoming weekends I’m setting my sights low (in the hope I’ll smash my goal!).
My first stop will be to finish my Spinster Club adventure. I’m currently reading #2 How Hard Can Love Be? and thoroughly enjoying Holly’s writing.
The other two definite reads on my list are Our Dark Duet by the one and only V. E. Schwab. I adored This Savage Song and can’t wait to see how this will finish! My other definite June read is the debut novel If Birds Fly Back from the lovely Carlie Sorosiak. These are both being released this month and I’m very excited to read them! Luckily I have an eARC of Carlie’s book so I won’t have to wait until June 29th!
That leaves me with two other books to read and I’m going to leave those spots wide open this month and just pick up what I fancy!
June Releases!
SO many wonderful books are coming out this month! And this is just me scraping the surface with the books I’m looking forward to. (Also a reminder to me of how many NG books I need to read ASAP!!)

I’m really looking forward to Our Dark Duet (also loved This Savage Song). I do hope it’ll turn out to be an amazing finale. I’ll probably wait a little bit before getting my hands on it though; wait and see what others think about it. I hear good things about One of Us is Lying. When Dimple Met Rishi is on my “maybe” TBR, so I look forward to hearing your thoughts! A couple books I plan on reading this month are Flame in the Mist by Renee Ahdieh and Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia.

Flame in the Mist is excellent, I really enjoyed it. I have a copy of Eliza and Her Monsters but not sure when I’ll get around to reading it! I highly recommend When Dimple Met Rishi, it’s so adorable!

I highly recommend the novella as well, “…and a happy new year?” It’s a great round up! Unfortunately the third one is my least favourite but still great!
