My Rating: ★★★★★
This book is the PERFECT ending to this wonderful series. I completely binged the Spinster Club books and I’m so glad I did because I’ve just fallen head over heels in love with them.
…And A Happy New Year? sees our favourite feminists Lottie, Evie and Amber reuniting at Amber’s New Year’s Eve party after their first term of University. Having slightly gone their separate ways there is a lot of tension in this book at first as the girls adjust to being around each other again.
There were moments in this book where I was so terribly upset because I just needed my Spinster Club girls to be back in one piece. It was great to read each chapter from a different POV because it gave a really rounded account of how the evening and events were affecting each of the girls. This novella is full of difficult moments and times where I wanted to take each girl individually and wrap them in a big hug and tell them it would be okay.
Ultimately what I loved about this book is the friendship. I loved the message that no matter what happens to change us as individuals, true friendship will always prevail and be there. No matter the distance or time, those true kindred friendships will always have those special places in our hearts and those moments where you realise it feels like you’ve never been apart.
It is with a slightly heavy but happy heart that I say goodbye to the Spinster Club ladies but I hope that one day we may get a sneak peek into their futures.

Hello! I just wanted to ask if it’s necessary to read this book cause I just got the first 3 the other day but didn’t know about this one. Should I get it? Does it explain a cliffhanger or anything? Cause a lot of reviews mention it as a trilogy. Thank you!

Oh no it wouldn’t be necessary at all! It’s just a novella that Holly wrote as an extra 🙂

I also adore this series, and was so worried for the girls when I read. Think Am I Normal Yet has to be my favourite, I absolutely adore Evie 💖💖💖
