BrightGirl-Blog tour.jpg

Hi everyone! Today I’m back for my spot on the blog tour for Things A Bright Girl Can Do by Sally Nicholls! I absolutely LOVED this book and you can check out my full review here if you’re interested.

Things A Bright Girl Can Do tells the story of Evelyn, May and Nell, three girls growing up during difficult times. It shows their dabbling with the Suffragette movements as well as tackling sexuality, social class and war head on. It’s truly fantastic and I urge you to read it!

Maybe this wonderful extract from the beginning of the book can twist your arm further…

  2. Oooh. This is the first I’ve heard of this book, but it sounds up my alley. I love the idea of exploring women coming of age during the suffragette movement! I am actually quite shocked I haven’t read any books which are set during this time. And that second sentence of the excerpt? Sold.

Have you read this yet? Will you be reading/reviewing it?
