I read The Colour Purple years ago and it’s an incredible book but extremely hard to read.

I think you’re the first person I’ve seen use The Color Purple for purple covers so kudos to you! Also I’ve NEVER seen that cover for Bone Gap. I wasn’t even sure that was the same book I was thinking of until I confirmed the author’s name. I love it! It looks very similar to the UK cover designs for The Bear And The Nightingale series. It is stunning!

Purple is my favourite (and the theme of my list) too, though I don’t actually think we share any! I really liked some of the stories in Make More Noise and love the significance of the colour covers, and I also enjoyed Second Best Friend and And A Happy New Year…? too 💜
