I also discovered Tomi Adeyemi & Elizabeth Acevedo in 2018! I listened to The Poet X via audiobook. It was probably one of the best audiobooks I’ve ever read. Elizabeth narrates it herself and it just took the reading experience to a whole new level 🙂

Great list! My favorite new-to-me 2018 authors are probably Donna Tartt (The Secret History), Christina Lauren (Autoboyography), Amor Towles (A Gentleman in Moscow), and Allison Tebo (The Reluctant Godfather).
