The Last 10 Books Tag

I found this tag on Kristin Kraves Books and thought it would be a good one to look at! I’d love to see your posts of this if you’ve already done this tag!

The Last Book I Gave Up On

Whilst there was nothing wrong with Let Me Lie by Clare Mackintosh, I ended up putting it down and not picking it back up. I’ll probably give it another go at some point!

The Last Book I Reread

I reread Six of Crows via audio book just before the end of 2020 and fell right back in love with Kaz, Inej and gang. I’m currently midway through rereading Crooked Kingdom via audio book too!

The Last Book I Bought

Honestly I’ve seen everyone raving about Last One To Die by Cynthia Murphy so I knew I needed to get a copy. It arrived this week and I’ll most likely read it soon so I can get in on the hype!

The Last Book I Said I Read But Didn’t

I was supposed to read Emma by Jane Austen back when I studied As Level English but I never quite got around to finishing it, despite telling my teacher I had! Luckily a chapter I had read came up on the exam… phew!

Last Book I Wrote in the Margins of

If you know me, you know I adore Katie Webber and Wing Jones (her debut novel) is one of my all time favourites. I have several copies and one of those is totally scribbled in from a reread.

Last Book That I Had Signed

Right before lockdown started in March 2020 I was due to go to London to see Melinda Salisbury talk about her new novel Hold Back The Tide. I never made it but fortunately a couple of my friends did and they got me a signed copy from Mel too!

Last Book I Lost

I’m not sure I have an answer to this!

Last Book I Had To Replace

I gave my copy of The Poet X to someone I know to borrow and they loved it so much that I let them keep it and bought myself a new one!

Last Book I Argued Over

I wouldn’t say I had an argument with anyone about Who Runs The World? but I’ve also never felt so argumentative about a book. I pretty much hated everything about this one and would argue my side viscerally!

Last Book You Pre-Ordered

I CANNOT WAIT for the second book in the Strangeworlds Travel Agency series after really loving the first book earlier this month. April can’t come around quick enough!
