March TBR

In true Kelly’s Rambles style, I skipped posting in February but I did manage to read a couple of books. That being said, this month I’m back on the TBR hype and looking forward to reading the books I have on my TBR for March. It helps that I’m trying to tick off a couple of prompts and meeting my target of trying to knock books off my NetGalley shelf too as that gives me some shape to my TBR. I’m also not going to worry too much if I decide to pick up something not on my TBR or even if I abandon it completely! It’s a start but let’s see where March takes us!

March TBR

The Roanoke Girls by Amy Engel – I’ve had this book on my Kindle/TBR for literally years and I needed a book this month with a place name in the title for my Buzzword challenge so picked this one. I’ve actually finished reading it today and was disturbing and addictive at the same time.

The Cousins by Karen McManus – I flipping love Karen McManus books but for some reason still haven’t read this one. It was a clear winner for this month’s Poll Pick so thanks to my Twitter followers for suggesting this one!

And The Stars Were Burning Brightly by Danielle Jawando – Two of my bookish besties absolutely loved this book and it’s high time I got to it. This will count as a BIPOC novel for my Devour Your TBR challenge and it’s an old NetGalley book so ticks that box too!

Gallant by V. E. Schwab – I loooove V, she is one of my favourite authors and I’ve had this pre-ordered for a while. I’ve also been lucky enough to receive an arc so I’ll be jumping in soon!

The Twyford Code by Janice Hallett – I loved The Appeal when I read it in January and I’ve bought myself this recently so whilst it isn’t for a particular prompt, it is one I’d like to read this month.

NetGalley Options

Do No Harm | The Secret Sunshine Project | Into the Dark | Blood to Poison

I’m not sure which of these I’ll prioritise to read next in terms of ‘new’ NetGalley but they are all coming out in either April or May so I’ll try and read one, if not two of them.

Do you set a monthly TBR? What books are you hoping to read? Let me know if you’ve read any from my TBR!
