WWW Wednesday: 1st March 2017

Thanks to the lovely Sam who hosts this meme at Taking On A World of Words. This is a weekly meme where I answer the three W’s of reading: What are you currently reading? What have you just finished reading? What will you read next?

What are you currently reading?

Front Lines (Soldier Girl, #1)  Half of a Yellow Sun

I currently have two books on the go. I am reading a physical copy of Front Lines by Michael Grant. This book along with the second in the series and the new short for World Book Day were all sent to me by the lovely publishers. I’m enjoying this so far, it’s interesting to see a take on the war where women were also in the army. I am also listening to the audiobook of Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I have a physical copy of this but when I saw it was available on Audible I decided to snap it up and it is so fantastic to listen to!

What did you recently finish reading?

A Conjuring of Light (Shades of Magic #3)

If you didn’t already know (I think this has been in every blog post recently), I just finished reading A Conjuring of Light by the phenomenal V. E. Schwab. Honestly, this book and whole trilogy is a master class in writing, character creating and world building. It’s fantastic from beginning to end and I loved every single second.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Silver Stars (Soldier Girl #2)

I have to read the second book in the Front Lines series which is the newly released Silver Stars. I’ll be featuring some reviews on this series and have heard good things about book two as well!

What have you been reading this week?

Do you have any thoughts on the books I’ve mentioned?
