Thanks to the lovely Sam who hosts this meme at Taking On A World of Words. This is a weekly meme where I answer the three W’s of reading: What are you currently reading? What have you just finished reading? What will you read next?
What are you currently reading?
I’m almost finished with Michael’s Spear by Hilton Pashley. This book has been an okay read for me but I’m not completely in love with it. I’m sure younger children would love the adventure though.
What did you recently finish reading?
Last weekend I finished reading There’s Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins. The book was okay but didn’t quite live up to my expectations. Look out for my full review later this week!
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’ll be reading something from my #HalloweenWR readathon TBR next! So one of the above!
What have you been reading this week?
Do you have any thoughts on the books I’ve mentioned?
Follow me on Twitter, Instagram, Bloglovin’ or Goodreads. Comments are always warmly welcome.

I’m kind of interested in There’s Someone Inside Your House but pretty much all the bloggers I follow who have read it have had the same mixed feelings. I’m not making it a huge priority. I hope your next reads pick up after a couple of mediocre ones!

Thanks Emily, luckily I’ve read 2 great books today which has made up for a few 3* reads in a row!

I’ve not read anything on here, but I might give Hilton Pashley a go at sone point. I’m reading The Witch’s Kiss at the moment and I totally love it! I’ve had a pretty good streak of books the past couple of weeks, and I’m getting through loads (for me) on my holiday 💜

Ohhhhh, can’t wait to see what you think of A Skinful of Shadows! I loved The Lie Tree but I didn’t enjoy her other novel, A Face Like Glass, as much. I’m really excited about this one though!

I’ve started reading A Skinful of Shadows tonight, only 41 pages in but definitely intrigued!
