Hi everyone! Long time no speak/read/write! Today I’m back to share my sign up post and TBR for the fabulous #ReadersCrossing which is being hosted by the incredible Aentee @ Read at Midnight. I always love how creative Aentee’s reading challenges are and, despite not playing the game, I’m keen to take part. I’ve not read a lot in the last month so hopefully this will spur me on again.
You can find out everything about the readathon here. Thanks to Aentee for the beautiful graphics!
I’m not going to be taking part competitively and counting my points or levelling up but I am going to pick a route and then maybe complete a few of the other squares just for fun. If you are interested in the competitive element, definitely check out Aentee’s original post where you can also design a character card of your own.
I’ve decided to complete the ‘Cute’ route across the top of the board, mainly because I was easily able to think of books to read for these prompts. Here’s my TBR!
Graphic Novel/Manga: Wire & Nerve by Marissa Meyer
Pink Cover: Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu
Main Romantic Plot: Landline by Rainbow Rowell
MG/Children’s: A Place Called Perfect by Helena Duggan
Contemporary: I’ll Be Home for Christmas (anthology)
I already own all of these books and this is the perfect reason to read them all before the end of the year. The challenge starts on Sunday 10th December and goes through until 31st December – plenty of time to read at least these five books!
Are you taking part in #ReadersCrossing?
Have you read any of the books from my TBR? What did you think?
Follow me on Twitter, Instagram, Bloglovin’ or Goodreads. Comments are always warmly welcome.
I’ve not hearing of this readathon but it’s potentially the cutest readathon out there! Animal Crossing and Reading sounds like my kid of readathon!
