Hi everyone! It’s Sunday and time for a #SixforSunday post! This is a weekly meme hosted by my lovely friend Steph @ A Little But A Lot. Don’t forget to check out her blog for today’s post too!
So the prompt for today was six characters we wouldn’t like to be friends with… so as you can see I’ve gone COMPLETELY off topic! The reason for that being that as you sit comfortably reading this blog post, I am (at this precise moment) in the middle of nowhere on a weekend school trip with 45 teenagers. It got me thinking of books I have enjoyed that have at least part of their story set in school, so there we have it!
Solitaire | One of Us is Lying | The Call | Moxie | George | Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda
Ps. I have specifically NOT included Harry Potter simply because it ends up in every single one of my blog posts!
Which books set in school/college do you love?
If you attended Hogwarts, what subject do you think would be your favourite?
Follow me on Twitter, Instagram, Bloglovin’ or Goodreads. Comments are always warmly welcome.

I’ve read 5 of this books. I feel this is some kind of accomplishment. Also, excellent restraint NOT putting Potter in! I think you could guess which book I’d add to this list!
Love you! Thanks for posting for #SixforSunday! See you next week! S x

Great post! Solitaire has such a great school setting! I think it’s probably one of my favourite aspects of that book! I enjoyed the school setting in Anna and the French Kiss from what I can remember. I’ve always loved boarding school settings!

Moxie is a great choice, as it uses a school setting in such a positive way to show female empowerment and young women discovering feminism. Your choice of Simon Vs has reminded me (even more) that I need to get to the book ASAP before the film comes out! Great post Kelly!

My favourite school settings are Deepdean or Malory Towers I think 🙂
Pretty sure my fave Hogwarts subjects would be Charms or Transfiguration, as I love those teachers best and I they just seem like things I’d enjoy. Also Ancient Runes because languages ARE THE BEST 😍
