Hi everyone! Happy weekend! Today I’m sharing another unboxing with you from May and this time it is my Illumicrate box. I ADORED this box so much, I really don’t know how Daphne and team manage it!
So I really love the new Illumicrate card, I think the font is super cute and fun! I also liked that the crinkled bits of tissue paper weren’t in this box as I end up finding them for weeks afterwards usually!
This gorgeous enamel camp half-blood pin was designed exclusively for this box by Fable and Black. I’ve not read the books for this fandom but I do love this cute pin!
These gorgeous Infernal Devices tarot style cards are designed by the super talented Taratjah. I’ve never read these books but this artwork is absolutely stunning!
I love a book mark and so these exclusive elements page markers are right up my street. They are designed by Another Studio and they’re made of stainless steel. They’re super light weight and I know they’ll come in really handy.
I spent a LOOOONG time looking at the artwork on this gorgeous box designed by Alice Oseman. I adore Alice’s novels and her artwork is incredible so to have an exclusive piece on a cute box is amazing. I don’t think I’ll be using this for lunch but I’m already thinking of putting my Washi tapes in there!
Booksleeves are popular items at the moment but this may have just taken the top spot as one of the most gorgeous ones I own. This was exclusively designed for the box by Risa Rodil and I just adore it.
There were also lots of smaller bookish goodies in the box too including a sampler for Holly Bourne’s upcoming adult novel How Do You Like Me Now? and some cute postcards for different releases. I also love the I Was Born For This pin!
We were treated to two books again this month! The first is this exclusive edition advanced copy of Light Years by Kass Morgan. I’d not heard anything about this but it sounds up my street so I’m looking forward to giving it a go over the summer. This is due for release in October.
May’s book of the month was A Thousand Perfect Notes by C.G. Drews aka Paper Fury. I have already devoured this book and whilst it is incrediby emotional and harrowing, it is also filled with such hope and light. We were lucky to receive an exclusive edition with red sprayed edges which is just too gorgeous for words! A signed bookplate, letter and bookmark were also included.
And there we have it for this quarter! Another incredible box from Illumicrate. It’s definitely my favourite of the boxes I am subscribed too and I love that it comes quarterly as we get so many extra treats!
Which of these bookish items do you wish you could get your hands on?
Have you read A Thousand Perfect Notes? Is it on your TBR?
