Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish which has now found a lovely new home at That Artsy Reader Girl. The prompt this week was to share 10 books that are linked to specific moments in our lives. I don’t really feel up to doing that as it could get a bit emotional so I thought I’d take some time to look back on books that were released in 2017 that I STILL haven’t read…
If you’ve read any of these, please do let me know which ones I need to pick up ASAP!
Gilded Cage by Vic James | History is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera | The Fallen Children by David Owen | Flight of a Starling by Lisa Heathfield | Girlhood by Cat Clarke | The Power by Naomi Alderman | Indigo Donut by Patrice Lawrence | Tangleweed and Brine by Deirdre Sullivan | Another Place by Matthew Crow | The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed
What was your favourite 2017 read!
Have you read any of these? Which was your favourite?

I haven’t read any of these yet, so I can’t make any recommendations there. Wildcard was my favorite book of 2017.

I still need to read The Nowhere Girls myself. Time is so fleeting, it’s hard not to miss out on some amazing sounding books.

Totally agree. I have so many great books on my TBR but more and more are being released!

Flight of a starling really sounds good, it’s on my TBR for a while now as well.

I really want to read it soon but I had a conversation with Lisa Heathfield last year and due to personal reasons she advised me that I should probably wait a bit before reading it so I’m taking her advice. I know I’ll adore it when I do read it though, her writing is very powerful.

I’ve not read any of these, but I can empathize with not having read books from years ago. Good luck!
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks!
