February Reads & March Goals

It’s March and time to look back on what I read and how much I enjoyed the books from February. I’m happyy to report that I am still very much here reading, blogging and journaling but I’m definitely doing this with less pressure on myself and probably enjoying it more as a result!

Today’s post is all about the books I read last month, which were my favourites and sharing a couple of goals for March too.

February Reads

I didn’t quite reach my target of 6 books in February but I did manage to read 5 so I’m pleased with that! I mostly read some ARCs of 2023 releases but did squeeze in a couple of backlist titles too. I did DNF one book but I’m not going to mention the title here.

  1. The Society for Soulless Girls by Laura Steven ★★★★
  2. Chaos Theory by Nic Stone ★★★★
  3. The Headmaster’s List by Melissa de la Cruz ★★★★
  4. HappyHead by Josh Silver ★★★.5
  5. Win Kill Lose Die by Cynthia Murphy ★★★★★

My favourite book of the month was a backlist title with Win Lose Kill Die hugely coming up trumps for me. I absolutely loved this YA thriller and it definitely kept me guessing throughout. The ending was fantastic and I actually wish there was going to be a second book to see what happens next!

March Goals

Again, I’ve not signed up for a specific reading challenge but I do have quite a few arcs to read before their releases in April as well as a couple of other books I’ve really been anticipating!! Here are a couple of goals for this month:

  1. Read 6 books.
  2. Read 4 arcs – NetGalley.
  3. Read at least 1 backlist book.

What books did you read in February? Do you have any goals for March? I’d love to hear from you in the comments!
