Thanks to the lovely Sam who hosts this meme at Taking On A World of Words. This is a weekly meme where I answer the three W’s of reading: What are you currently reading? What have you just finished reading? What will you read next?
What are you currently reading?
I have two books on the go at the moment. I’m on Goblet of Fire now in my audiobook reread of the series and I love remembering all the bits of the books that didn’t get put in the movies. Then talking about movies, I am also currently reading It Only Happens in the Movies by Holly Bourne. I’m loving being back with Holly’s writing and the way she brings her characters to life.
What did you recently finish reading?
I adored The Island at the End of Everything by Kiran Millwood Hargrave. This is a middle grade story about a girl called Ami. She lives on an island with her mother who has leprosy. The story itself is based on events in history but Kiran has made this into the most gorgeous, lyrical novel which tells a story of courage, strength and friendship.
What do you think you’ll read next?
This question has haunted me every time I’ve finished a book this month so I’m really not sure. The books above are a few of my options!
What have you been reading this week?
Do you have any thoughts on the books I’ve mentioned?

I’m working on The Favorite Sister by Jessica Knoll, and I’m struggling a bit.
It’s been a couple of years since I reread Harry Potter, and I have never listened to the audiobooks! Which narrarator are you listening to?
Yessss it only happens in the movies, such a great book! Glad to hear you’re enjoying it 🤗
Wow, that Hargrave book cover is surely beautiful! ❤
I’ve seen It Only Happens in the Movies around but haven’t been able to see what it’s about. I haven’t even read any Holly Black book so… Anyway, good luck with your books!
I can’t wait to find out what you think of Legendary. I want to read that one.
The Island at the End of Everything sounds like a lovely read 🙂 And I’m so excited to read Legendary and From Twinkle, with Love!
