Wrapping Up January Reading

Hi everyone! I am stuck between thinking that January was 5 months long and also disbelief that we are already in February. Time is such a strange thing!

Today I’m sharing with you a quick reflection on my reading in January. I’ll post links to reviews that are already up on the blog and share mini reviews of the books I haven’t fully reviewed this month!

Overall I had a BRILLIANT reading month. It won’t seem like much to say that I read six books but it’s the first time in many, many months I’ve read more than one book! Here’s what I read in January!

Reviews: Strangeworlds Travel Agency | Lock the Doors | Loveless

Mini Reviews

The Dream Snatcher by Abi Elphinstone – A fantastic, magical adventure filled with family, friendship and plenty of action. The baddies are REALLY bad and the main characters are totally loveable. I adored Moll and Gryff! I picked this book up to fulfil a prompt for a January challenge and was not disappointed!

In Bloom by C.J. Skuse – Rhiannon is as devilish as ever! Love her wit, love the awful language and terrible things she thinks and does! Cannot wait for book 3 after THAT ending!! Murderous Bridget Jones is my thing. If you fancy this, make sure you check out book 1 – Sweetpea!

Last One To Die by Cynthia Murphy – Wowza. There was no messing around with this novel. Straight into the plot from chapter one and I whizzed right through the rest!! An absolute page turner which is seriously thrilling and tense!
